TECHNICAL VISITS, EXPO & MEETINGS

One of permanent focus of Intersolo board is to keep the company updated on equipments and new foundation types by visiting job sites abroad.

Besides those visits, Intersolo engineers have been participated in all Brazilian Foundation Seminars, Soil Mechanics Congress and events organized by ABMS and ABEF. These main events happen each two years, one at a time alternatively.

Intersolo is a past member of the ADSC Association of Drilled Contracts in the United States which hás becomed the IAFD International Association of Foundation Drilling. This important association is responsible for organizing each year a very large exposition of foundation drilling equipment, and twice Intersolo has been present in those events in that country.

Looking forward in updating its piling operations, Intersolo board members have visited abroad several job sites in Europe and in the United States during the years of 2004 and 2005. One result of these visits was the purchase in 2006 of Intersolo’s first hydraulic piling rig with an accelerated hammer, made by Junttan of Finland which has a energy measure device. It was the second unit of that type of equipment to be brought to Brazil.

Again, in 2007, another technical visit to job sites in Holland and Finland led to the company’s decision to purchase its second equipment of hydraulic piling rig with Junttan hammer and to open negotiations to bring to this country a modern type of pile joint that requires no welding and based on matching pins.
